Although the picture online and description are black, the product is gray.I updated the review from 1 to 4 stars, because I turned it on and set it in the location that I wanted it to be in and it looked absolutely beautiful.I love the remote - it has a timer and you are able to use it to brighten and dim the candles. I love the way it flickers like a real candle. I love this product!!I know its hard to see in the picture, but it has a silvery smoke tint to it that looks gorgeous when it's on day/night.If you love using double stick tape to adhere vellum paper with pretty designs onto your candles, then this is the candle set for you. If, however, you think you are buying a pretty set of decorative holiday candles that are not DIY, keep shopping. You get 3 candles with a dripping wax look, a roll double stick tape, and an array of holiday designs printed on vellum. Your job is to maneuver the paper designs onto the lumpy drippy-looking candles and tape them in place.Love theseThese candles are beautiful and I love them. Unfortunately the smallest one’s wick doesn’t flicker like the others...but they’re still a perfect addition to my evening ambiance!I thought I was getting one design printed on a set of candles. I got one set of candles and several sheets with designs on them to apply with double stick tape. They’re ok but not what I wanted really. And the covers make them not fit into my candleholder. Just a slight bit too big to slide down in with it on and with the tape.I wanted so much to LOVE this item, but my “laugh” candle would not work-I changed the battery on this one candle and a day later the battery was dead....I did this for a week and finally gave up.
