This was to have been a gift for someone celebrating Chanukah. However, the box itself was shipped without being wrapped, or boxed, and was badly ripped and damaged. The Menorah looks decent itself, but since it was supposed to be (and now can't be) a gift, we can't give it with a box that looks like it came from a thrift store. We also don't know if it was damaged so badly as it doesn't work. However, as compared to some battery-operated Menorahs, visually, it looks quite nice. I tried to give it no stars, since we don't know how it performs, but was not able to do that, so we gave it five, but only based on what we can see sticking out of the box. We can't comment on its usability. We are sending it back.UPDATED: We gave the replacement to our friends. They LOVED it. It looks great. I was about to return the one with the badly damaged box, but another person fell in with it. We tried to order another one for them, but the menorah was out of stock. So our friend opened the damaged box, and found that that menorah worked perfectly. It looks great. You can turn on or off each candle separately. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE MENORAHS. They're much better than some of the other dinky-looking plastic electric versions. If you celebrate Chanukah, this is the menorah to get if you want something that's substantial, and looks great.
