These were not at all what I was expecting. My other remote/battery candles have a covered bulb as the flame, and it flickers by some mechanism inside the bulb. These have a plastic "flame" on a small wire that physically moves to catch the light coming from below. When I opened the package and discovered this, I was mortified. I thought they looked cheap and couldn't possibly appear realistic. I was immediately ready to send them back.But then I turned them on and was pleasantly surprised by how good they look in the dark. I like them so much that I have them on a nightly timer now. It's been several weeks, and the batteries appear to still be working fine, as do the candles. Time will tell on durability, but considering how wonky these look when not lit, I'm really pleased by how pretty these are.If they hold up, I'll consider them a successful purchase.My son loves to turn on my candles and he left them on a few nights in a row and I really thought the batteries would have died by now, nope, they are going strong. So, they don't use a ton or the battery, which is a plus when you have kids!I love how realistic the candle, flame and the faux glass look. The remote control is extremely convenient. The timer is a plus alsoBeautiful glow. Soft & relaxing. Smoke glass looks very nice.Thse are so realistic, only wish they could be used on the gazebo. The timer function and remote is so convenient. ?I have 2 sets! Sets the perfect lighting and you can set the timer to come on at the same time each day. Perfect night lightingThese are a really good buy. I use them in my bathrooms for a night light. I really love the remote control has different timers so you don't have to leave it on for a long length of time you can leave it on for 2 hours if you wish. They look very real and they are nice and bright. I love the different sizes as well. They came in perfect condition and the remote works perfectly. This is a goodbye and a good buy!Pretty
