I like the Illure candles because the flame is 3d and it moves like a normal flame, plus the batteries last quite a bit longer than other candles. The ones I ordered are 4x5 and I guess until I actually SAW them, I didn't realize how big that is. Luckily it still worked where I wanted to use them. (I bought 2 of these)I balked at the $50 price tag, but I was desperate for a 4" battery-operated candle with a realistic flame to fit an existing candleholder and this is the only one I found after hours of scouring the Internet. I have absolutely no regrets. This is a beautiful quality candle with a realistic flickering flame movement and a handy remote. Because it takes "D" batteries, it has a lot of juice. I've been using it every evening for a few hours for over a month and it's still going strong. The remote allows you to turn off the flicker--although I don't know why you'd do that-- and adjust the light intensity from high to low. Considering the quality of this candle, I think it was worth every penny and I highly recommend it!This candle is the real deal. I put it in my lantern on the fireplace and every night it comes on and looks just like a real candle flickering! So pretty. I was hesitant to spend that much money when there were cheaper ones out there but I read the reviews and went for it. So happy with my purchase!These candles were exactly what I was looking forThere is nothing to dislike! They are more realistic than the "other guy".....just beautiful! Batteries "C" last a long time.....going on three weeks now!This is a great flameless candle. We are using it on our altar at church as an everburning candle and it looks real!!!
